“It is possible, some days to see the whole of Barcelona with your feet on the ground. The vantage point is the old funfair on the Collserola massif behind the city, known as Tibidabo.”
Robert Hughes
Bienvenidos!
If you have never visited Barcelona this is your perfect opportunity. If you already know the city you will need no reminding of its magic. Autumn is a great time to visit, and several of our events will take place outdoors in the cool Mediterranean night. We have put together an action-packed Programme that will take place at a variety of centrally-located Venues ranging from the state-of-the-art Arteria multispace which will host the conferences to the creative oasis Palo Alto, home of Mariscal’s studio. You will find the list of Speakers who have been invited to talk at the conferences including a large selection of new members who will participate in 10 minute ‘zapping’ sessions.

If you didn’t receive the briefing for the Special Project you may download it. We remind you that the project is open to all AGI members, whether or not you plan to attend the Congress. For the free day we have organised Sightseeing options including a day trip to Sitges, a visit to the world-famous Cava ‘bodegas’ in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia and various architectural tours of Barcelona. We are also introducing a Movie Night with screenings of members’ work. There is also rumour about a foosball tournament...

You may also download the series of Congress Newsletters. You will also find recommended Hotel Accommodation, with specially negotiated rates. We advise you to book as soon as possible as room numbers are limited. And, most importantly, online Registration for you and your guest/s, with payment via PayPal, is now active...

Hasta pronto!
